Hoan Kiem lake Hanoi, also known as Guom lake, is located right in the center of Vietnam's capital city, and surrounded by 3 streets, Hang Khau - Le Thai To - Dinh Tien Hoang.

The tower in the middle of the lake is actually honoring the turtle that still lived in the lake.

Ngoc Son temple is on a small islet on the North side of Hoan Kiem lake, you can go there on The Huc bridge, painted in red. And when you reach the temple you can have a full glance of the lake, taking pictures and get to know the history of the temple and many folk stories, historic stories involving Ngoc Son temple.
The structure of Ngoc Son temple is pretty unique. The main shrine included 2 houses joined together. The first shrines in the North worship King Tran Hung Dao and Emperor Duc Van Xuong. There are 2 sculptures made of stones on the back of the shrines. The South has Tran Ba Pavilion. The Pavilion has eight rooftop, and eight pillars. If you set foot here, you will immediately get the sacred and peaceful atmosphere. With the complemented view of the lake, the place seems more poetic and holy.
The Huc bridge in Hoan Kiem lake Hanoi is a famous destination to visit. The bridge leads straight to Ngoc Son temple, under the large tree’s shadow, surrounded by many pot plants. The bride’s name The Huc (where the light is at sunset), was built in 1895. The bridge is just made of wood and painted entirely in bright red color. The bridge used to be broken, so it has a new structure that bend, shaped like a shrimp. Due to this unique feature, visitors love to take pictures on the bridge with the view of the whole Hoan Kiem lake and Ngoc Son temple.
Ly Thai To Monument is placed in the same name park, on Dinh Tien Hoang streets, alongside Hoan Kiem lake. The monument was built to honor King Ly Thai To, who founded Thang Long Imperial, Hanoi nowadays. This is a majestic, cultural symbolic architecture construct in the community.
The Park is also a public place for hosting many meetings, liveshow, events in and out of Vietnam. And on the weekend, where Dinh Tien Hoang is a pedestrian street, this is a gathering place for young people anticipating many events.
